This morning, early and i mean early, the Sanibel-Captiva Audubon society sponsered their weekly walk, this week at Bowmans beach, Sanibel Island, Florida.
These are a few of the moments captured on film …
A few ibis, feeding in the early morning, still waters:
The following “splash” is a brown pelican hitting the water, capturing a fish …an unbelievable splash and the amazing thing is: They rarely miss …
a shorebird, sandpiper, looking for their early morning feed:
Forster’s Tern in flight:
Looking:
And diving:
A couple more pictures, in flight:
A Gull:
Always exciting: A Bald Eagle:
A cactus:
Beach Shells:
A Gar:
Some of “the members”
And this concludes another successful early morning walk with “The society”
until next time … so long
